{The celebrating starts now! Yay! Happy Birthday!}

In addition to the Birthday fun, I wish I could run up to Toronto this weekend & see the premiere of Vegucated! Looks like an awesome movie. Wish it was a reality TV show on NBC or something here in the states.

Above is a photo of some apples I picked up called Pink Pearl Apples. I found them at the Living Earth in Worcester. They remind me of say a green Granny smith apple crossed with a mac. They are really yummy! Kids love em' too. And... lastly.. if YOU don't teach your kids to love fresh fruits & veggies, then who will?

I bribe my kids with promises of Gluten free vegan pizza served at EVO if they eat their fruits & veggies. WHATEVER works! Sometimes I let them get a buccaneer candy bar if they've been especially good about it. Most veggies I don't have to even bribe them with now, they willingly eat them. Trick is to make something for yourself & don't share it with them.. odds are they will wanna try it.
Hope you have a great day! Enjoy the veggies!
XOXO Heather :)
Your son is adorable! :-) It is exciting to read about raising a vegan kid.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Amanda! I love raising vegan kids. It's awesome! SO nice to their small health changes over the years. I don't think we've been sick since going vegan!
